For well over 100 years, Temple has provided members and visitors with a beautiful setting in which to play golf, meet friends and relax.

The chalk downland course was designed by twice Open Champion Willie Park Jr. and to this day the spirit of his 'inland links' course is maintained. With stunning views over Marlow and the Thames Valley providing a picturesque backdrop, the course provides a great challenge for all levels of golfer.

Temple is a progressive club and combines well over 100 years of history and tradition with a modern approach to membership. Our usage-based Lifestyle membership includes flexible options that are ideal for today’s time-pressured golfer. There is plenty of opportunity for social golf, regular roll-ups and, for those who enjoy competition golf, plenty of organised events and matches, many of which are open to both men and women.
